Performing service and maintenance on your vehicle is necessary to keep it operating in top condition. We have listed below some of the most common services along with a brief description of each. Please feel free to contact us for more information specifically related to your vehicle. Our computer system allows us access to up-to-the-minute manufacturer recommendations for all makes and models.

After carefully inspecting your vehicle and diagnosing any repair or recommended maintenance, we provide you with an estimate before proceeding with work. We are happy to answer all your questions and explain our recommendations to your complete satisfaction.

Computer diagnostics
When your vehicle's check engine light illuminates, your onboard computer has detected a malfunction in one of the systems. We scan for diagnostic trouble codes to pinpoint the system in question and test those components to determine the needed repair.

Tune-ups
A regular tune-up keeps your engine running smoothly and improves fuel mileage. A tune-up can include spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap and rotor button, fuel filter or air filter replacement. To be sure what components apply to your vehicle and recommended mileage interval for replacement, give us a call.

Timing belts
Vehicles equipped with timing belts have a manufacturer recommended replacement interval that typically comes every 60,000-90,000 miles. Not replacing your timing belt before it fails can lead to engine damage.

Cooling system
That temperature gauge on your dash lets you know if your engine is operating at the proper temperature. Your antifreeze/coolant, water pump, thermostat, radiator and fan all work together to ensure that your engine doesn't overheat. If you see a coolant leak or your temperature hand is registering too high or low, we will determine the source of the problem and repair it. Don't let a minor problem turn into costly repairs by ignoring it.

Major engine repair
When your vehicle needs serious repair, such as engine replacement, head gasket or intake gasket replacement, we work hard to get your vehicle back on the road as soon as possible.

Brakes
It doesn't matter how well a vehicle runs if it won't stop when you put on your brakes! We completely inspect your brake system from the pads or shoes to the hoses and calipers. When needed, we use OE-equivalent lifetime brake pads and shoes. We have an in-house brake lathe and can machine rotors and drums or replace them when indicated. Wheel bearings are also inspected with each brake job. We can clean and repack or replace bearings and hub assemblies as needed.

Safety inspection
We offer a bumper-to-bumper inspection of your vehicle that will provide you with a complete status report of any repair or maintenance needs.

Steering and suspension
We can inspect and replace CV axles, shocks, struts and chassis parts (such as tie rod ends, ball joints, idler arms, control arms and sway bar link kits). Included in steering component replacements we perform are power steering pumps and hoses, and the rack and pinion assembly.

Filters
Your vehicle comes equipped with an engine air filter that should be replaced annually. Many vehicles have an in-line fuel filter that should be replaced every 24,000 miles to extend the life of the fuel pump. A PCV filter can clog without regular replacement. Newer vehicle models often have a cabin air filter for the ventilation system that should be replaced every year. The life of the engine can be extended by regularly changing the oil and filter.

Fuel injection service
Our special equipment cleans your vehicle's fuel injectors, which can lead to improved performance and better fuel mileage.

Fluids
Fluids in your vehicle are not designed to last forever and must be changed based on the manufacturer's recommendation with the proper fluid type. For example, coolant, transmission fluid and differential fluid all have regular replacement intervals - call us with your vehicle's make, model and current odometer reading to find out what you're due to have serviced.

Belts and hoses
Have your belts inspected annually and replace if they begin to crack or fray on the edges. Hoses should be replaced if they are bulging or are no longer pliable.

Starting & charging system
This includes your starter, alternator, battery and cables. We can test and replace any of these components as needed.

Electrical/wiring
Wiring problems can cause lights to malfunction, vehicles to intermittently not start, windows to freeze and other seemingly strange occurrences. We can track down and repair electrical shorts and damaged wiring.

Heating and air conditioning
We service and repair air conditioning systems, replace leaking heater cores and diagnose blower fan problems.

Restoration
If you have a classic car or truck that has already been restored to like-new condition and you want to keep it that way, or if you haven't even started on your restoration project, we can help! We'll be glad to discuss minor or major restoration projects and develop a plan with you.

There are many other services we provide. Please call our office if you have any questions. There are no repairs too large or too small for us to take care of for you!
